Venture Capital Beat Reporters: Some Old, Some New, Some Both |

Journalism is not unlike
other professions in the sense that players change constantly. With print magazines and newspapers
facing steep competition from blogs and online news sites, there has been a
decent amount of shuffling of those journalists covering the venture capital
space. Ironically, it seems more
like a re-arranging of chairs rather than players. To wit, long time venture
capital reporter for The Wall Street Journal Rebecca Buckman went to Forbes in the Fall,
leaving a gap at the WSJ that
unfortunately has yet to be filled. Claire Miller at Forbes then went to cover venture capital full time for The
New York Times. It can get confusing but
