Congress is at a deciding point on many issues critical to the venture capital and entrepreneurial communities: regulation of venture capital; taxation of carried interest; healthcare reform, a new tax on the medical device industry; patent reform; high tech immigration policy; fundamental energy policy, follow on biologics, among others. It has never been more important for NVCA's voice to be heard on the issues most important to the venture community.

VenturePAC is one of NVCA's most important tools to ensure that our voice gets heard loud and clear. Now is the time we need every NVCA member firm to show its support for the only Political Action Committee working on behalf of the venture capital industry.

To make a contribution to VenturePAC today, please use the 2009 VenturePAC Contribution Form and guidelines. Contributions must be received by NVCA no later than December 31, 2009.

We thank all the NVCA members who have supported VenturePAC in the past and hope we can count on your support again this year. We encourage you to urge your partners and peers to support VenturePAC as well.

For those members who have not supported VenturePAC in the past, we encourage you to do so this year. There has never been a time when so many issues were being debated in Congress that could have a profound impact on the future of our industry.
