Autodesk is a leading provider of 2D and 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software used by more than nine million people worldwide. They are committed to sustainability principles and believe that Autodesk software can play a major role in bringing clean technology products and solutions to market faster and more profitably. Their software is used by engineers, designers, product developers, and manufacturers to create, explore, and validate digital prototypes of their products before building them. Designing digitally will create a more predictable product development process and will allow prospective customers and investors to visualize ideas and evaluate how easy the design will be to manufacture.

Autodesk is offering clean tech entrepreneurs involved in making a physical product or project a free software grant valued at up to $150,000. Through 2009, Autodesk will be distributing software grants to emerging clean tech companies in North America who are ready to engage in an implementation plan with the support of our local reseller partners.

They invite NVCA member portfolio companies to apply for a grant at autodesk.com/cleantech and join the Autodesk Clean Tech Partner
Program, through which they are showcasing the most promising developments in clean technology.

The Autodesk Clean Tech Software Grant is a collection of their professional‐level software applications, and includes up to five licenses each of:

  • AutoCAD® Inventor® Professional
  • Autodesk® Showcase® Professional
  • Autodesk® Vault Manufacturing
  • Autodesk® Navisworks® Manage
  • Autodesk® Revit® Architecture
  • Autodesk® Alias® Design
